Labyrinths, Mindful Birding, & Forest Bathing

Join this virtual presentation and discussion where the contemplative practices of labyrinth walking, birdwatching, and forest bathing are weaved together in a complementary way.

Within the program, we’ll delve into the emerging science behind why nature-based wellness programming is gaining recognition around the world as a form of preventive care and wellness support, and how Labyrinth walking can integrate into the disciplines of nature-based wellness programming.

Stretch your imagination and quench your desire to learn more about nature-based awareness, and wholeness. Enjoy a forest metaphor and the spiritual meaning of some globally popular birds (bluebirds, goldfinches, wrens) and how to incorporate these ideas into your labyrinth practice.

This presentation by author and nature-based wellness specialist, Holly Merker,  is appropriate for those new to these practices as well as those who are seasoned.

Spiritual practitioners, clergy, social workers, Hospice caretakers, artists, and pilgrims will benefit from learning new ways of being with nature.
